For elementary students, sessions can focus on number sense, arithmetic, fractions, and word problems. Middle school support includes pre-algebra, equations, and the transition toward algebra.

My tutoring experience includes two years with Kumon, where I tutored math and reading; four years tutoring college mathematics at Auburn University; and two years tutoring college mathematics, chemistry, and physics with BuffTutors at CU-Boulder.

I hold bachelor’s degrees in Chemical Engineering and Psychology and a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering. That background gives me ways to connect mathematical ideas to scientific problems while keeping the student’s questions at the center of the session.
